The 2-step is a MUST have for anyone who likes country music.
Any honky tonk, bar, ballroom, or barn that’s playin’ country music will also have people dancing the 2-step. This dance is used all over the country by young and old, and is a staple for country music.
The beginner level course will get you familiar with the dance’s timing and traveling motion it uses around the floor. It will also show you the core beginner steps to get your 2-steppin’ off on the right foot! (Or left, if you’re the leader)
The intermediate level will build on the foundation you already have, giving you more variety and confidence! We’ll introduce you to the next set of must-have steps, making you a better dancer while you have a blast learning!
Then with mastery of the advanced Country 2-Step Course you’ll have a whole arsenal of fancy new moves and improve your footwork, timing, lead/follow, and styling! You’ll be able to dance with anyone, anywhere, no matter what level they are, beautifully and confidently!
No partner is needed! Just come on in and get ready to have a blast! Each 1 hour course class is just $15 for members ($20 for non-members), and is followed by a 15 minute practice session to help make your new moves muscle memory. Just come a little early and pay at the door ~ class starts promptly at 5!
