West Coast Swing is a more modern style of Swing dance that has a blues-y feel and sexy body movements. It’s slow, smooth, and flirty and can be used to a variety of tempos and styles of music including slow rock, rhythm & blues, pop, and country. It’s popularity has grown tremendously in recent years making it a “must have” among dancers. Although challenging at first, it’s a great dance for learning rhythm, how to change your timing, and how to express yourself to the music!
The beginner level is FREE every Thursday in February, so tell your friends and come try it out!
Our beginner West Coast Course will start from the ground up and show you footwork, timing, dance position, and the core basic steps you need! Your two left feet will be a thing of the past and you’ll actually be able to grab a friend or date (or anyone!) and dance!
No partner and no experience is needed! Just come on in and get ready to have a blast!
