Starting in February we’ve got brand new classes to introduce you to the wonderful world of Ballroom dancing!
Samba is a Latin Ballroom dance that’s influenced by the original Samba – a Brazilian party dance. It’s fast, sexy, and is the best dance to give you a workout! It uses the famous box step combined with a pulsing “bounce”, lots of hip action, body rolls, and fancy footwork.
Samba is useful for all kinds of bass-heavy modern music from reggaeton (you’ll hear this in Salsa clubs) to pop and hip-hop. It quickly becomes a favorite of those who learn it, and Michelle will be teaching it all month every Tuesday at 6pm.
These All Levels classes will get you familiar with the most important steps you need, and the traveling motion they use around the floor!
We’ll introduce you to a fun new step each week, giving you more variety and confidence! Every class starts with the basic step, so even if you are new to the dance, you will be able to join in on the fun!
Each class is only $10 for members ($15 for non-Members), and no partner or experience is needed, so come join us!
