There are some great activities lined up for Father's Day in Jacksonville providing opportunities to spend time with family and participate in fun events.

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp offers one of the best in-game experiences in minor league baseball, and they happen to be at home on Father's Day weekend against the Jackson Generals. Single game tickets can be purchased for as low as $5, making it affordable for the whole family.
On Father's Day, the Jumbo Shrimp are trying to set the world record for the most fortune cookies eaten at one time by handing out 4,000 fortune cookies during the fourth inning. They are also offering their normal Sunday Family FUNday promotion which includes a pregame catch on the field for families, kids face painting, balloon animals, and more.
Challenge Dad to a day of European-style go-kart racing at the Autobahn Indoor Speedway. The F1-inspired karts reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour, and the 80,000 square foot facility is the largest in Florida.
Kids can come along and join in on the fun as a junior karter as long as they are at least eight years old and 48 inches tall. Single multi-lap race passes are $19.99, and there three and five-race packs available.
Painting with a Twist is inviting dads to join in on the fun with their children for Father's Day. Their Daddy and Me Love Trees event is open to all ages and takes place from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Those participating can work separately or individually to paint a nature scene, but tickets are $25 per seat. All Painting with Twist events are also BYOB, meaning you may bring your own food and drink into the studio.
Drive just south of Jacksonville to find one of the true meccas of golf at the World Golf Village Hall of Fame. They have a fantastic Father's Day special that offers free admission to all dads and their immediate family members.
Museum patrons can also take aim on a replica of TPC Sawgrass' famed 17th island green for just $5. Operating hours on Father's Day are 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
