Event Details
Electrical lineworkers are the backbone of American infrastructure – bringing electricity and safety to communities across the country. Recent destructive weather, like Hurricane Helene (where more than 2 million customers remain without electricity across several states), has further demonstrated the importance of highly skilled lineworkers to help restore power and repair damage to communities. Employment is expected to grow for line installers and repairers by nearly 10,000 jobs by 2032.
With 80% of the curriculum coming from practical training led by industry veteran lineworkers, job readiness begins on day one. There will be live presentations and demos by instructors, along with tours of facilities and classrooms.
Local employers will also be onsite to answer questions that prospective students may have about a career in electrical lineworking.
