This free seminar is an up-to-the-minute briefing on the most recent legislation relevant to condominium and homeowner associations. The course fulfills the annual legal education requirement for licensed community association managers by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and counts as 2.0 continuing education credit hours for CAMs. Topics included in this course include:


Summary and analysis of new laws and amendments to existing laws affecting community associations


Discussion of recent court decisions and arbitration rulings

Instructors:
BARRY B. ANSBACHER is the managing partner at Ansbacher Law. He has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of Florida community association law, including development of new communities and condominium associations, turnover of control to homeowners, defective construction claims and ongoing operations of condominium and homeowner associations. Barry Ansbacher is the only attorney in the State of Florida to hold triple board certification by The Florida Bar in Condominium and Planned Development Law, Construction Law, and  Real Estate Law.
Barry Ansbacher is well known for successfully representing community associations in complex construct defect litigation cases against some of America’s largest home builders. He regularly lectures on association law to fellow lawyers at the Florida Bar Construction Law Institute, to professional community association managers, and to neighborhood leaders. He was the original author of the chapter on subdivisions for The Florida Bar’s book, Florida Real Property Complex Transactions.  Barry is a licensed instructor certified by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
