Sports Edge Athletics’ 2 Day Baseball Training Camp is what you need. Head Coach and Director, Matt Loosen, brings his years of High School, Collegiate and Professional level playing and coaching experience to analyze, identify and help players correct bad habits, perfect mechanics and develop solid foundational skills to make a significant difference in your players’ game.
March 13-14 or March 20-21
Player Development Camp
Day 1: Defensive Session: Pitching, Catching, Fielding featuring former Minor League baseball pitcher, Matt Loosen
Day 2: Offensive Session: Hitting/Bunting
THE 2 DAY TRAINING CAMPS WILL COVER:
Fielding • Sport Specific Movement Training •Hitting • Swing Analysis and Evaluations • Pitching Mechanics • Catching
Camps will include:
* 45min of sports performance & agility training from GPA Fitness
* 1 hour of defensive training(incl. pitching), skills and drills
* 1 hour of batting
Youth Development Camp Dates:
March 11-12 – Ages 6-12
March 18-19 – Ages 6-12
Player Development Camp Dates:
March 13-14 – Ages 13-18
March 20-21 – Ages 13-18
Camp Hours: Camps are 9am – 12pm and are first come first serve basis. Camps will close at 30 registrants so be sure to reserve your spot today!
Camp Cost: Camp – 2 Days $189
What to Wear: Athletic shorts, t-shirt and athletic shoes (No Cleats). Bring your Glove, Bat and Helmet

MEET OUR LEAD TRAINER, MATT LOOSEN.
Matt Loosen is the Senior Pitching, Hitting and Defensive instructor. He joins Sports Edge Athletics after playing at the Collegiate level with Jacksonville University until he was drafted in 2010 by the Chicago Cubs. He played professionally for 5 years within their organization. Matt now coaches locally and has received his bachelors degree in Sports Management.
Career Highlights Include:
- All-Conference 2008, 2009, 2010
- Drafted 2010 23rd Round Chicago Cubs
- All Star Selection 2012
- Selected to Represent Chicago Cubs in Arizona Fall League
- Played 1 Year for the Laredo Lemurs
- Played 2 Years for the New Jersey Jackets
