Love craft beer, but want a better understanding of the styles you see out at your favorite breweries and bars? Join us at beer school!
This class will take a high-level approach to some of the most common beer styles out on the market. For each style we will touch on its historical development, quantitative parameters, flavor profile, key ingredients, and classic producers.
This class is a great way to get a better understanding of why you gravitate towards specific beers styles and why you typically avoid others, beyond just because of the beer name or brewery that produced it.
The class is $30 to attend and includes an educational presentation, handouts, and a guided beer tasting. All attendees must be 21+ years old to attend. This class is led by Alewife Co-Owner Kelly Pickard, Certified Cicerone®. Tickets are non-refundable.
