If you are looking for an adorable pet that will steal your heart away by the way they look and can purr adorably at you, then there can be no other and better choice than Teacup kittens. But let me be totally honest here. I am as confused as you are. One says there is such a thing, and another says absolutely not. I know my persians are on the small side because they only weigh 5 (my male) an 6 ( my female). I love them to death. They are precious to me. As are their kittens. But the teacup thing has totally eluded me. One person says it's just size and another says they really are that small. So far, in my experience, teacups are not anywhere near as small as we are led to believe and kittens who are from small parents grow up small. They all start out the same, though. My kittens seem to vary in size. I have changed what I feed them and notice that also has a big effect on their growth rate. So, what is right? I've copied information below from other sites, but my experience is that you just have to fall in love with your kitten. It seems to me that they pick you as much as you pick them. I also have a real big problem with pricing. I would love to break even on this, but I also know it ends up being more a hobby than anything else. I don't want to lose money, but I do want people to be happy, I've had one really bad experience.
