Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine

Description

Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine was formed when Doctors James Grimes and Albert Volk joined their practices at Flagler Hospital in 1999. Dr. Grimes is the Chairman for the Department of Orthopaedics at Flagler Hospital and specializes in sports medicine and joint surgery. Dr. Volk specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic shoulder surgery. With the addition of Dr. Kurtis Hort, who specializes in disorders of the foot and ankle, they opened their new state-of-the-art facility in September of 2005. Soon afterwards they were joined by Dr. Brian Haycook, an orthopaedic spine surgeon specializing in disorders of the neck and back. Dr. John Stark, whose expertise is hand surgery, joined Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine in 2006. In 2009 the team of surgeons expanded to include Dr. Sina Kasraeian, who in addition to arthroscopy specializes in sports medicine as well. The most recent addition is Dr. Casey McClone, a Primary Care Sports Medicine doctor. Rounding out the team is podiatrist Dr. Beth Pearce who is able to treat conditions of the foot for patients of all ages. The practice continues to expand and opened an additional office in northern St. Johns County conveniently located on County Road 210. The group continues to bring on additional doctors and services in order to provide multi-specialty orthopaedic care for the entire body. The expansion of the practice allows us to better meet the growing needs of our patients.
