Inspired by the desire to offer Jacksonville an authentic crab house reminiscent of the Chesapeake Bay area crab houses, we opened the Blue Crab Crabhouse in 1996 in a small strip center on San Jose, Blvd. Within 5 years the demand from the public required an expansion into a larger building on Julington Creek Rd completed in 2003.
