Deck The Chairs is a non profit focused on children’s arts and arts programming by providing a free six-week long holiday lights and music display featuring decorated lifeguard chairs and weekend kids activities.
November 23, 2022 Jax Beach Deck The Chairs presented by Publix opens its tenth holiday season showcasing the nationally recognized decorated lifeguard chairs display. Deck The Chairs is a Beaches non profit providing 40 days of free lights, artistry, and holiday entertainment. The event grows annually providing a memorable tradition for more and more residents and visitors.
The 2022 JBDTC season is packed with stage programming including, City of Jax Beach Moonlight Movie Night, three afternoons of holiday dance performances, Tuba Christmas, Chair Awards, Beaches Go Green Deckin’ Sustainability Student Exhibit, Christmas Eve Service hosted by Ocean City Church, TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Pep Rally, and plenty of north Florida holiday spirit.
JBDTC feature a free holiday lightshow nightly 5 p.m. – 1 a.m.
and lots of weekend programming.
