The 51st Annual Christmas Tour of Homes, presented by the Garden Club of St. Augustine, takes visitors inside six private homes in the nation's oldest city on Sunday, December 4, 2022. This year's theme will be "Casa y Flores de Navidad."
This walking tour gives participants a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see these beautiful homes dating from the 1800s decorated with fresh wreaths, garlands and floral arrangements. Rich with the charm and grandeur of the holiday season that is an integral part of historic St. Augustine, this tour is a very popular annual tradition. Tickets go on sale October 1, 2022, and the tour usually sells out pretty quickly. Locations of the homes in this year's tour are printed on the back of each ticket.
Guests may tour the homes at their own pace from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. In addition to the tour, visitors can enjoy the Garden Club's "Holiday Tea and Boutique" which offers delicious treats and many hand-made items, such as crafts, baked goods, and jams, created by the Club's members. The Holiday Tea and Boutique will be at the River House (179 Marine St.) and will be open from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m.
Some limited transportation will be provided from the parking garage to the River House and some of the locations, but this is a walking tour and those participating will also have to climb stairs. Comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing is highly recommended.
Admission: $40.00 per person. Reservations are required and the tour usually sells out quickly, so advance purchase is strongly recommended. The non-refundable tickets go on sale on October 1, 2022. Go to their website to purchase tickets. Group sales are available.
